President
Frank Perry III
[email protected]
Hello, my name is Frank Perry III. I am currently enrolled at Union University in Hendersonville, Tennessee as an Accelerated BSN student. I am originally from Jackson, Tennessee, and currently reside in Clarksville, Tennessee. The number one question that I have been asked since starting this journey is why nursing? Well, I have always been compelled to serve and aid others during their most vulnerable moments. It is a thrill to see people completely transform from tragedy to triumph. In addition, I love that nurses are the backbone of every hospital. After graduation, my goal is to land a job in the emergency department. Once I become seasoned, I plan to obtain my DNP specializing in acute care.
I want to be an extraordinary leader to my colleagues, staff, and patients.
I am excited to serve as your 2020 – 2021 TSNA president.
Vice President
Rachel Lallky
[email protected]
Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Lallky and I am so excited to be serving as the Vice President of the 2020-2021 TSNA Board of Directors. I am currently in my senior year of Lipscomb University’s Traditional BSN Program. Upon graduation, I hope to pursue a career in pediatrics or women’s health at a hospital in Nashville.
This is my second term on the board, and I have loved every second of it. I highly suggest getting involved with TSNA as it provides you with incredible experiences for your resume as well as friends and mentors that will be there for you once you start your career.
Outside of the nursing world, I enjoy mission work and taking care of my sweet puppy, Frankie.
I am, once again, so excited to be serving in this position and cannot wait to see what this year holds!
Secretary
Jerllyhia Dotson
[email protected]
Hello, my name is Jerllyhia Dotson and I am proud to be your TSNA Secretary for the 2020-2021 year. I attend the University of Memphis Loewenberg College of Nursing as a BSN undergraduate. After attaining my BSN, I plan to travel a little and return to school to specialize in pediatrics/mental health. I’ve always wanted to work in pediatrics because I love children, but my own experiences with adversities and observing the disparities that both my father and brother faced with their mental illness allowed me to see just how much the world needs more mental health specialists. I thought it was pretty cool to be able to combine the two as a Child-Adolescent Psychiatric NP. Aside from the future, I am greatly involved with my local SNA. I have experience as a historian, social chairman, and recently elected as Vice President. I am so excited to join the executive board for the TSNA and ready to bring my skills and bubbly personality to the board !
Treasurer
Georgia Martin
[email protected]
Hello! My name is Georgia Martin, and I am the TSNA Treasurer for the 2020-2021 year. I am a current student at Union University in Hendersonville, Tennessee as an Accelerated BSN undergraduate. After completing my BSN program, I plan to attain my DNP and become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have always had a passion for mental health, paired with my desire to serve others, I believe that attaining a degree in nursing that specializes in mental health is the perfect balance to heal individuals psychologically and physically. While 2020 has been filled with uncertainties and challenges for the medical community, nurses have been the backbone society has relied on throughout it all. The next generation of nursing students is eager to step in and join the effort to aid the sick and vulnerable. I am honored to be a part of an organization that is empowering nursing students to achieve their greatest potential.

Communications Director
Lesleigh Meece
[email protected]
Hey there! My name is Lesleigh Meece, and I am currently a student in the ABSN program at Union University in Hendersonville. After obtaining my BSN, I have hopes of becoming a peri-operative nurse working in the field of reconstructive plastics. I have worked in the plastics and aesthetics industry for over 2 years now and have seen first had the impact reconstructive procedures can have on patients. I love that this line of work will allow me to combine my passions of nursing and artistry to help build the confidence of my patients.
I feel so incredibly honored to be serving in this position with TSNA. This organization continues to have a positive impact on so many aspiring nurses. I am looking forward to the year 2021 with this amazing board of leaders.
Legislative Director
Lauren Rolinskas

Hello! My name is Lauren Rolinskas and I am so excited to serve as the TSNA Legislative Director for the 2021-2022 year. I am a first generation college student from Chicago. I am currently attending Union University in Hendersonville, Tennessee in the Accelerated BSN program. I spent time as a Crisis Text Line counselor and realized that so many people just want to know that someone is listening. Nurses have the opportunity to make people feel safe in difficult times and a little less alone. I can’t think of a better career to spend my life doing. In the future, I hope to work in a Pediatric Gender Health Clinic. I am looking forward to being a part of an organization that has the power to create so much positive change for the nursing community.

Hey there! My name is Kennedy Hooper. I’m currently a BSN student at Union University in Hendersonville, TN. After completing my BSN, I plan to become a L&D or pediatric nurse. I have always been passionate about becoming a nurse and serving others. I love children and working with families, so I hope to do that in my career. After working on the floor and gaining experience, I would love to go on and obtain my DPN.

West Regional Director
Devante Yates
Hi, my name is Devante Yates and I am happy to be serving as the TSNA West Regional Director for the 2020-2021 year. Upon completing the program, I plan to work as a Trauma ICU nurse and obtain a few years of experience before traveling. I do plan on returning to school to pursue a doctorate in gerontology/mental health. I’ve always had a passion for the elderly generation but I've developed a better understanding of the adversities they’ve faced that have contributed to their mental health. I’ve seen first-hand how the quarantine has affected our elderly population. Aside from my future plans, I am currently serving as treasurer for my local SNA as well as being a member of the Emergency Nurses Association.
I’m excited to be on the executive board for TSNA to contribute to Tennessee student nurses the best way I can.

TSNA Consultant
Leah Henry
[email protected]
Hello! My name is Leah Henry. I have previously served as TSNA’s Middle Regional Director, and I’m excited to continue working with students as a consultant. I work primarily with the Regional Directors and the BTN Director to help facilitate new SNA chapters, support current SNA chapters, and network with high school students who have an interest in the nursing profession. After graduating from Union University’s Accelerated BSN program in Hendersonville, TN, I joined the Nurse Residency program at Vanderbilt and currently work in Med Surg. Nursing students have a voice in the future of nursing, and TSNA provides opportunities for leadership, career building, networking, policy building, community outreach etc. Healthcare is a vital part of our society, and the privilege of being a nurse comes with responsibility to be knowledgeable about the issues that surround our profession. TSNA equips student nurses to network with others in the field and to build informed opinions when policies are introduced and enacted upon. I’m glad you’re here to see what TSNA is all about!
TSNA Consultant
Teresa Johnson
Hello! My name is Teresa Johnson, and I am serving as a TNA-TSNA Liaison. My journey with TSNA has come full circle. When I was in my undergraduate program, I served at President of TSNA for two terms. It was a phenomenal experience and am beyond excited to now be consulting with the Board of Directors in order to guide them through their experiences. I graduated with my undergrad from UT Knoxville in 1997 and have worked in a variety of settings including medical, surgical, telemetry, ICU, labor and delivery, and outpatient clinic. I graduated with my Masters in Nursing and obtained my FNP certification in 2006. I took a position in chronic pain management and after a few years, rediscovered my love for teaching. I have been teaching in the accelerated BSN program at Union University in Hendersonville since 2013. I love to teach just about any course, but would have to say that pharmacology is my favorite. (I know, weird, right?)
